Darik Croft, M.B.A.Chief Operating Officer

With over 12 years of experience in healthcare management, Darik Croft provides proven leadership and vision as the miCare Health Center COO. Croft joins miCare from Holy Rosary Healthcare, a facility affiliated with Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, where he was responsible for a multispecialty physician practice of Family Practice, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, and General Surgery providers. His years of management experience demonstrates a results driven commitment to continuously improve the patient experience and quality of care provided with a proven ability to navigate teams through the changing healthcare industry. During his six year tenure at Holy Rosary, Darik successfully developed and deployed many projects including a Provider Operating Council and an Occupational Health service line.

Darik holds a Master in Business Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration from American InterContinental University, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Idaho State University, and is LEAN certified.

Todd Ragar, M.D.miCare Medical Director

As medical director of miCare, Dr. Todd Ragar has over 17 years of practice as a family medicine physician, practicing in Billings from 2000 to 2011, after which he spent two years overseas. A native of Glendive, Montana, he is a graduate of the University of Montana and the University of Washington School of Medicine. “Working as a primary care physician not only is my field of medical expertise, but it is where miCare makes the greatest impact on the health and wellbeing of our patients,” said Dr. Ragar. He cites primary-care services as the area where miCare excels, in addition to “a tradition of cost-effective and personalized medical services.”

Melissa LyonExecutive Vice President Human Resources

Melissa joined EBMS in March of 2011 after a twenty one year career in banking with Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. where she held positions as District Manager and Vice President, Human Resource Consultant and Institutional Trust Officer. With oversight of the Human Resource and Training functions of EBMS, Melissa provides leadership in such areas as workforce development, employee engagement, organizational development, and benefit management for EBMS. Melissa is a member of the Montana March of Dimes Board, actively participates with the Yellowstone Valley Chapter of SHRM, and volunteers for Experience Works assisting individuals to build their resume and job interview skills to find employment. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from Rocky Mountain College a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Montana, and currently holds certifications as a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, Group Benefit Associate, and Compensation Management Specialist through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Professionals and the Wharton School of Business. Melissa also holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Society of Human Resources.

Elizabeth "Liz" ThomasBusiness Development Manager

In her role as miCare Business Development Manager, Ms. Thomas is responsible for recruiting and retaining new business interested in the employer-owned miCare Health Centers. Liz joined EBMS as miCare’s Business Development Manager in 2015. Ms. Thomas most recently owned an Independent Consulting company assisting small employers with HR and healthcare benefit needs. She also worked in Marketing and Account Management for an international medical travel company, and acted as an Account Executive with a Third Party Administrator and Heffernan Insurance Brokers.
